THINGS TO REMEMBER
ARRIVE EARLY. Please help us serve you better by arriving as early as possible Saturday morning. The race starts at 8:00AM and Sign-In/Gear-Check starts at 6AM. We have 75 teams signed up, please help us avoid long lines.
ONLY ONE VEHICLE PER TEAM AT THE START/FINISH.
Please park as close together as possible. It’s not a tailgate party….
SIGN-IN as soon as you get to the start/finish. Please be ready for GEAR-CHECK very soon thereafter.
The Asheville Humane Society Raffle is open to everyone but you can only buy tickets at the start/finish. We have EXCELLENT prizes this year from many generous sponsors. Tickets are 2 for $5. Please give yourself enough time to enter the raffle. The homeless critters need all the help they can get!!! Tickets will be drawn at 7PM. If you are not present we’ll contact you. (you will be responsible for shipping costs)
There is limited food and water support on course. Bring everything you may need for a long day in Pisgah.
Checkpoints will be manned and random gear-checks will be performed. Anyone missing mandatory gear will be penalized 2 hours.
